Our vision is to lead the change

In 2010 a new vision emerged in the discipline of pallet procurement. Using the internet buyers and sellers can buy and sell pallets in Palettenring.de a pan European pallet exchange operating in Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Romania, Latvia, Estonia, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Our vision is to create direct competition between pallet suppliers in order to create an efficient pallet markt with full price transparency. Thanks to our business model smaller pallet suppliers get a chance to sell to big clients. Our registered pallet buyers use our system to check whether or not their current suppliers sold them overpriced pallets.

How does it work?

The vison works when buyers switch from offline to online pallet buying. By saying buying offline we mean using the phone, fax or email. Using Palettenring.de all this work can be reduced to a minimum.

Each and every pallet buyer from the industry, pallet trading and forwarding sectors brings his current pallet suppliers over to Palettenring.de and from that point on buys only his pallets through palettenring.de. The new pallet suppliers automatically compete with the other pallets suppliers brought by previous pallet buyers.

The competing suppliers cause an efficient pricing mechanism. A choice of good and reliable pallet suppliers coming from the old offline world create an efficient pallet market, where pallets can be bought and sold within minutes.

It is buyer's choice whether they want transparency (online) or opacity (offline). There are skeptics out there who do not want to be compared on price possibly because of fear of being identified as a supplier of overpriced pallets.
